Early Morning Coffee
Freshly brewed coffee and a variety of teas is made available at 7am, in the sitting room, to give you that wake up call and prepare you for breakfast.

Breakfast
A complete and cooked breakfast is served each morning, in the dining room, offering the traditional breakfast dishes, baked goods, juices, cereals, coffee and tea.

Lunch
The Barnacle provides sandwiches, chowder, salads, baked goods and hot and cold beverages for your enjoyment at the cafe, or packed to go.

Dinner
Each night of the week the Chef prepares a variety of different dishes to satisfy those hungry hikers who have walked the island or lighter dishes for those who have not been quite as active. The Dining Room opens at 6pm. The menu is based upon Maine's abundant fresh fare, including locally caught fish such as haddock and tuna, Lobster for which Maine is so well known, local shrimp and mussels, together with grilled and roasted meats, and a delicious selection of vegetarian dishes. Soups, chowders and salads, and home baked deserts compliment these dishes and offer an exciting start and a mouth watering finish to a relaxing dinner.

Special Diets can be catered for, although we do request that advance notice be given for those which take more preparation, with the understanding that nothing is readily available on the island and all food items have to be ordered in advance and delivered on the boat to the island.

Wine and Beer are available at The Barnacle as an off sale item and can be chilled and served to you in the dining room as we, together with the other food establishments on the island, are not permitted to sell alcohol. You may also bring wine, beer or liquor to the island - liquor is not available for purchase on the island.
